To upload/download using the FTP client Fetch for the Mac it is required that you disable Passive Mode FTP.

Use the following instructions to disable passive FTP in Fetch:

                        1.      Go to the Fetch menu and choose Preferences.

2.      Click the General tab.

3.      If the Use passive mode transfers (PASV) checkbox is checked, uncheck it.

4.      Try connecting again.
