1. Open Outlook Express.

2. Click TOOLS --> ACCOUNTS.

3. Click the MAIL tab.

4. Select your email account in the ACCOUNT list.
Note: Your email account may have a different name from the example below, but the type will be "mail."

5. Click PROPERTIES.

6. Click the SERVERS tab.

7. Check the box next to MY SERVER REQUIRES AUTHENTICATION.

8. Click OK

9. Click CLOSE

You will now be able to send mail using the mail.marion.net mail server.
